[She's not all you have. Do you have to lose here to realize that? I hope not. Jeez, who do you think brought her into your sorry life in the first place? If I keep her safe it's not going to be for your sake alone, so remember that.

Excuse me if I go off on a rant for a minute, but people need to realize a few things, not just you:

You are all part of me and are my children. Think of it as if you were each a blood cell in a human body. Life is precious, but life is also cheap and it's a paradox. You love your blood, right? No, you pretty much take it for granted. If you get a cut, hundreds, maybe many thousands of blood cells die and your body can make more.

Oh, you are not a bloodcell? They are not important? How do you know what a bloodcell thinks? Is life an accident, only a chemical reaction? Ever hear the expression, "As above, so below"? Ever think much about anything except your little life?

Since you're between jobs and have some time on your hands, I suggest you use some of it to start a spiritul quest. Go find some holy books or occult books and start learning. Read the ones you think are interesting, skip the ones that look hokey. Trust your feelings, but also use some darned common sense, ok? That's what it's for, to regulate feelings. Without it you may find Scientology attractive, but you do have free will and you could do worse.

Ok, I've ranted enough. Back to you. If you want your prayers answered, you need to start really thinking about what you are asking for. You know black magic is "bad" right? Do you know why? It's because it's "magic" to benefit YOU. White magic doesn't get much press, and that's because it DOESN'T BENEFIT YOU, IT BENEFITS OTHERS...!!! Praying is like doing magic.

So, when you pray for your girl to be safe, pray for her sake, that she may live a long normal life, have a nice family and raise great kids, and continue to spread light and joy to others, and leave yourself out of the request. When you are attached to the request, you just drag it down... :-)
